At our restaurant Safran we serve you the finest from India.
India is rich in tradition and culture. The spice saffron is used for both culinary and medicinal purposes. Saffron is first mentioned in Rigweda, around 1,000 BC (one of the oldest scriptures in India). In the 8th century AD, the spice became part of the culinary and medicinal tradition of India.
It is a love affair you will have with spices from our kitchen. In Indian cuisine, we play with spices in ways that don’t exist anywhere else in the world. We cook with fragrant spices and fresh ingredients.
